In Norse mythology, Odin cast Jörmungandr into the ocean surrounding Midgard. There, the World Serpent grew so vast that it encircled the realm and grasped its own tail.

At Ragnarök, Jörmungandr rises from the sea to confront Thor. The thunder god kills the World Serpent but takes only nine steps before falling to its venom. Neither retreats from the fate waiting before them.

Beside the serpent is a stave inspired by the Vegvísir. This symbol comes from later Icelandic magical tradition, not the Viking Age, and was associated with finding the way through storms, bad weather and unfamiliar surroundings.

Placed together, they carry a modern interpretation:

Gently wash your horn by hand using lukewarm water, mild dish soap and a soft cloth.

Empty and rinse your horn promptly after drinking. Do not leave beverages sitting inside for extended periods.

Never soak your horn or place it in the dishwasher. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges and vigorous scrubbing.

❄️ Keep it cold

Use only with cold alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Do not use with hot liquids.

💨 Dry completely

Wipe your horn with a soft cloth, then allow it to air dry completely before storing. Never store it while damp.

🛡️ Protect the finish

Store it in a cool, dry place away from strong heat and prolonged direct sunlight. Do not apply oils, waxes or polishes unless Modern Viking recommends them for that specific product.
