Longship Viking Horn Mug (500mL)
Carved from genuine buffalo horn and finished by hand, the Longship Viking Horn Mug is made for cold beer, mead, ale and display. Each mug has its own natural grain, tone and shape, making it a one-of-a-kind Viking gift.
The longship was the vessel that carried Vikings beyond the edge of the known world. It meant courage, movement, conquest and the hunger to chase what waited over the horizon.
That spirit is carved into this mug.
Each Longship Viking Horn Mug begins as real buffalo horn, shaped first by nature, then finished by hand. The colour, grain and curve are never copied from a mould. Once the horn is selected, the longship design is carved into the face of the mug, turning it from simple drinkware into a piece with story, texture and presence.
The longship symbol is for those who move forward. Explorers, builders, fighters and men who refuse to stay still. Every time the mug is raised, it carries that same message: sail forward, face the unknown, and drink like the journey has already begun.
No two mugs are exactly the same. That is what makes yours feel personal, rare and worthy of the feast table.

By ordering, you agree to these terms, because a Viking’s word is their bond.
1. 💧 Clean After Every Feast
After draining your last ale, rinse your horn with cool water. Avoid using boiling water as it may weaken the structure of the horn—only cold or lukewarm water, as the Vikings would.
2. 🧼 Use Mild Soap
When your horn requires a deeper clean, use a gentle, mild soap with a soft cloth. Harsh chemicals and abrasive sponges are for pillaging, not for cleaning!
3. 🌬️ Air Dry Like a True Viking
After washing, allow your horn to air dry naturally. Do not leave it under direct sunlight or near a fire pit—keep it in the cool shade of your longhouse.
4. 🍺 Cold Drinks Only
Your horn is made for mead, ale, and cold beverages. Avoid hot drinks like mulled wine or coffee, as they may damage the horn’s natural finish. Keep your beverages as cold as the fjords!
5. 🛡️ Polish and Protect
From time to time, keep your horn in fighting condition by polishing the exterior with a food-safe oil like olive oil or coconut oil. This will keep it shining with the glory of the gods.
6. ⚔️ Store Like a Viking
When not in use, store your horn in a cool, dry place. Don’t leave it in damp environments or near the heat, as it may warp over time. Store it safely, ready for the next raid!
