WHEN TO USE IT
Every few uses, whenever the blade looks dry, after moisture exposure, or before longer storage. You do not need to oil after every pizza.
THE EASY ROUTINE
1. After use, wash the blade and dry it completely.
2. When needed, wipe on a few drops and remove any visible excess
3. Before cutting food again, wash with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid, rinse and dry.
IMPORTANT
Never return a damp blade to its leather sheath. Avoid cooking oils, machine oils, general-purpose lubricants and unverified blade oils. This oil helps reduce the risk of surface rust.

⚠️ Slice with Care
The blade is sharp. Use it on a stable cutting board, keep your fingers clear of the edge and slice with controlled pressure.
💧 Clean After the Feast
Wash before first use and after each use with warm water, mild dishwashing liquid and a soft cloth. Never soak or place it in the dishwasher. Dry immediately.
🛢️ Protect the Blade
Before longer storage, apply a thin layer of Modern Viking Blade Oil, following its directions, or another protective oil suitable for food contact blades. Wipe away any excess.
🛡️ Store It Dry
Keep the cutter and leather sheath dry. For long term storage, store them separately in a cool, dry place.
Damage caused by moisture, dishwasher use, abrasives or improper care is not a manufacturing defect. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

The pizza cutter is solid! it is much heavier than I imagined it would be, definitely a winner gift for the man who has everything - even if they already have a pizza cutter!
The handle feels good, 1.1 KG
The handle is only 1-2 cm shy of the Raven, so no real difference in length.
The Oathkeeper is very nice, I added some bees wax to the handle and it's better, the wood laser is still fresh and probably needs a coat of something.
While the Raven has a bigger head, the Oathkeeper balance is right behind the thumb rest!
This is why I prefer the OathKeeper over the Raven, regardless of the email I received, saying they are 2 different Axes.
