He is depicted mounted, holding his spear Gungnir — a weapon said to never miss its mark and forged by the dwarves themselves. This is not merely a depiction of war, but a symbol of unshakable purpose and divine authority. Gungnir represents the sharpness of foresight, the precision of leadership, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge and destiny.
On either side of Odin are his two trusted ravens, Huginn and Muninn. Their names mean Thought and Memory, and they are more than companions — they are his eyes and ears across the Nine Realms. Your Modern Viking shield is crafted from wood with painted detailing, a leather strap, wooden handle and wall hanging clip. Follow these simple steps to protect its finish and construction.

This shield is intended for display, collecting and carrying as a cosplay prop.
It is not protective equipment and must not be used for combat, sparring, striking, blocking, throwing or impact-based reenactment.
💧 Keep It Clean and Dry
Gently remove dust using a clean, soft and dry cloth.
Do not soak, rinse or leave the shield exposed to rain or excessive humidity. If it becomes damp, wipe it dry immediately and allow it to dry naturally at room temperature.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, metal polish and harsh chemicals.

Handle the shield carefully and avoid knocks, scratches or pressure against its painted and raised details.
Keep it away from direct sunlight, strong heat and damp environments, as these may damage the paint, leather or wood.
Before carrying it for cosplay, check that the handle and strap remain firmly attached. Do not use the shield if either appears loose or damaged.

Changed your mind? Most unused, non-personalised products can be returned within 30 days of receiving your order.
Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed and returned in their original condition and packaging. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
