The Norse understood gift giving better than most.
In the Hávamál, the sayings of the High One, there is a line that has outlived a thousand years. No gift is ever truly given without something expected in return. Not payment. Recognition.
In a culture where saying what you felt out loud was rarely enough, the gift did the talking. Arm rings. Blades. Drinking vessels. Things that outlasted the giving, and stayed with the receiver long after the giver was gone.
That is what this box is for. Not the paper that gets torn off and binned, but the thing still sitting on the shelf a year later, holding something else, saying the same thing it said the day it was handed over.

Raise a True Viking Toast
The fire crackles, casting shadows against the wooden beams of the longhouse. The scent of roasting meat fills the air. You grip your drinking horn, the weight of it grounding you in tradition.
Laughter roars, shields clatter, and the skald’s voice rises in song. This is the Viking way. This is the warrior’s feast.
Raise your horn and toast like the Norse legends before you.

Bought as Xmas gift, my son will love this, it's a beautiful piece
The pizza cutter is solid! it is much heavier than I imagined it would be, definitely a winner gift for the man who has everything - even if they already have a pizza cutter!
The handle feels good, 1.1 KG
The handle is only 1-2 cm shy of the Raven, so no real difference in length.
The Oathkeeper is very nice, I added some bees wax to the handle and it's better, the wood laser is still fresh and probably needs a coat of something.
While the Raven has a bigger head, the Oathkeeper balance is right behind the thumb rest!
This is why I prefer the OathKeeper over the Raven, regardless of the email I received, saying they are 2 different Axes.
Bought the Tree of Life heon fory daughter, she wants the strappy holder now. She loves it and said "I think I'm gonna end up being the drinking horn girl at parties." Super quick turn around and a beautiful, unique gift.
Brodie absolutely loved his pizza and meat cutter for his 40th birthday! It's such a great keepsake and we love that it's not just something to look at but something he can actually use too. A really great gift!
Love the pizza cutter! What a statement piece! The quality is amazing. The communication and consideration from the Modern Viking team was second to none
I bought 1 for a Christmas present, but when it arrived....I said nope that won't do...I need 2. One for each son/ son inlaw. So I bought another the same day. Showed it off to my work mates and now they all want one too!
Just astounded with the quality! Pics and videos really don’t do justice with how this absolutely completes the most authentic and original gift! Comes with additional wrapping paper (how cool!) and keeps your special piece safely tucked inside! Worth every cent ❤️
Bloody fantastic! I bought as a gift for my son, can't wait to give it to him. First rate knife and the gift box is perfect. Fast shipping and easy to buy.
The box is incredible quality, and comes with a sticker as well as care instructions and a card. The card is absolutely beautiful and again, the quality is incredible. I think it was a perfect addition to the mug that I bought
The quality of these gifts are unbelievable. Seriously so happy I found this site and loo forward to my future purchases for friends and family for unique special meaningful gifts. The father's day card and box is so beautiful and the words is priceless.
