The Helm of Awe, or Ægishjálmr, was carved into helmets, shields, and weapons by Norse warriors who marched toward death with no fear. It was believed to grant its bearer unmatched courage and mystical protection to strike fear in enemies and shield the soul in battle.
This axe was forged in that spirit. The blade is hand-forged from high-carbon steel, engraved with the Helm itself — bold, centered, and unmistakable. The hardwood handle is shaped for power and presence, while the rope-wrapped grip offers rough texture and raw control a true warrior's feel.
To carry this axe is to stand unshaken, unyielding and walk into battle under the gods' watch.⚔️

💧 Clean and Dry
Wipe the axe head and handle with a soft cloth after handling. If wet, dry immediately. Never soak or use harsh cleaners or abrasives.
🛢️ Protect the Metal
Before storage, apply a very thin layer of Modern Viking Blade Oil or another suitable protective oil to exposed metal. Wipe away any excess.
🛡️ Store Securely
Keep in a cool, dry and secure place. Keep any leather cover dry and store it separately during long term storage. Use a qualified professional if sharpening is required.

The pizza cutter is solid! it is much heavier than I imagined it would be, definitely a winner gift for the man who has everything - even if they already have a pizza cutter!
The handle feels good, 1.1 KG
The handle is only 1-2 cm shy of the Raven, so no real difference in length.
The Oathkeeper is very nice, I added some bees wax to the handle and it's better, the wood laser is still fresh and probably needs a coat of something.
While the Raven has a bigger head, the Oathkeeper balance is right behind the thumb rest!
This is why I prefer the OathKeeper over the Raven, regardless of the email I received, saying they are 2 different Axes.
Bought the Tree of Life heon fory daughter, she wants the strappy holder now. She loves it and said "I think I'm gonna end up being the drinking horn girl at parties." Super quick turn around and a beautiful, unique gift.
