This is more than a drinking horn. It is a symbol of untamed strength, made to be held, displayed and remembered.
Handcrafted from genuine buffalo horn and engraved by hand with Fenrir, every vessel has its own natural colour, grain, curve and character. No two will ever be exactly alike.
Capacity varies from approximately 300 to 400ml and a display stand is included. Add personal engraving to create an unforgettable gift, or claim the legend as your own.
Born to Loki and Angrboda, he grew with such terrifying strength that every ordinary chain placed upon him shattered. Only Gleipnir, a magical binding made by the dwarfs, could restrain him. To secure it, Tyr placed his hand in Fenrir's jaws, knowing the price he might pay.
Norse prophecy warned that no chain would hold forever. At Ragnarok, Fenrir would break free and face Odin himself.
That untamed story is carried across this vessel. A howling wolf rises along the horn's natural curve, its lifted muzzle and flowing fur lines engraved by hand into the surface. The colour and grain of the buffalo horn move through the design, giving every wolf a character no mould can repeat.
Each vessel begins as genuine buffalo horn, recovered as a natural by-product of food production. The horn is cleaned and prepared, then the artisan works with its individual shape before engraving the Fenrir design and finishing the piece. Every completed horn is leak tested before shipment and paired with its display stand.
The finished vessel carries both stories: Fenrir's refusal to be controlled and nature's refusal to repeat itself. Some spirits were never meant to be tamed.
Each Fenrir drinking horn is worked individually around the natural shape of the buffalo horn. Differences in colour, grain, markings, curve and capacity are part of the material and make every finished vessel unique.

Natural horn variation: Your horn may arrive lighter, darker, straighter or more curved than the one photographed. Natural variations in colour, grain, markings and curve are expected and make each vessel unique.
No two natural horns are ever the same. Yours carries its own colour, curve and character. With the right care, it can become more than a drinking vessel. It can become part of your story.
💧 Before the first feast
Gently wash your horn by hand using lukewarm water, mild dish soap and a soft cloth.
🫧 Clean after every use
Empty and rinse your horn promptly after drinking. Do not leave beverages sitting inside for extended periods.
🚫 Never soak or use the dishwasher
Never soak your horn or place it in the dishwasher. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges and vigorous scrubbing.
❄️ Keep it cold
Use only with cold alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Do not use with hot liquids.
💨 Dry completely
Wipe your horn with a soft cloth, then allow it to air dry completely before storing. Never store it while damp.
🛡️ Protect the finish
Store it in a cool, dry place away from strong heat and prolonged direct sunlight. Do not apply oils, waxes or polishes unless Modern Viking recommends them for that specific product.
Care for it well, and your horn can remain ready for feasts across generations. More than a drinking vessel, it can become a piece of your story worth passing down.

Brought for Christmas present so can only say that it looks great.
The quality of the pizza cutter is incredible! The delivery was super fast so I didn't expect it to come so quick and early! But I love it 💕
I can't wait to gift it for my partner's birthday xx
Very cool cup, I got it for a colleague for Secret Santa, would be good to include a note about the Nordic personalisation so the receiver understands it but apart from that everything is great, thank you ❤️
This was an absolute hit with my husband. I purchased it for his 50th and got it engraved. If you've been sitting on the fence about purchasing this as a gift or for yourself just do it. The craftsmanship was on point, the leather case is amazing and getting it engraved just made it even more special. Thanks team 😊👍👌

My husband received this for his birthday and he loved it. We had to wait a while as it was pre-ordered, however, I was updated along the way. It arrived after his birthday but he was still happy with the product. Thank you!

The team at Modern Viking went above and beyond to ensure my husbands 40th birthday gift was received in time after I made a blunder ordering something that wasn't in stock. The craftsmanship in these products is unreal the pictures don't do them justice. Everyone who has seen the horn is blown away at how awesome these items are. Thank you again to the team at Modern Viking for the fantastic communication, work and dedication put into these fantastic pieces of art .
Perfect birthday gift for my 23 year old beer drinking son. Quick delivery and better than I expected. Everyone that has seen it has been impressed with the finish quality. I believe there will more for order from my family.
Thanks again.
I was honestly blown away by the sheer top-notch quality of craftsmanship with this horn. It feels solid, weighty, and feels incredible to wield.
It'll hold roughly half a litre of fluid, and doesn't have any obnoxious taste or smell.
Genuinely, a head-turning centrepiece for any Viking drinking hall.
Brothers and Sisters, Skål!
